Solenoid Motor

An electric motor that uses a linear solenoid as the driving force. Can be configured like a steam engine or IC engine with the solenoid replacing the cylinder and piston of these engines.

A small micro-switch operated by a cam turns on the current to the coil at the appropriate time and this generates a magnetic field that pulls/pushes the armature.
