The Air Force Museum is opening it's doors for a classic weekend at Wigram. Restoration and storage hangers are open to the public, giving you a chance to have a hands on experience in restoration, the museum has got the full support from the RNZAF for the flying display, which will include the Hercules, Orion, Red Checkers, Seasprite, Boeing, Iroquois and the RNZAF Parachute School. The flying display will be subject to operational commitments that may occur over the ‘Wigram Classics’ weekend. The Museum will also have 28 static aircraft that will be displayed both inside and outside the museum. There will be a range of activities for visitors, and food vendors will be on site.
