This one is done at a scale 1:64. If this looks familiar, it is actually based on a Fine Scale Miniatures HO kit, but on a bigger scale. The house is made of card stock, styrene, and balsa. I cut thin balsa strips and glued it to the card stock walls, strip by strip. The lower walls are plastic. The steel drums are made from glue sticks that I cut to appropriate heights. The corrugation were made by cutting very thin strips of masking tape and rolling it on the steel drums.
Another photo of the house, this time showing a part of the interior, a small shop on the left side of the house.
I hope you like my "old house" the same as I enjoyed building it.
