Lufkin Rule - Decimal Equivalent

There appears to be a growing number of people selling boxes of old tools at car boot fairs. The great thing about this is that there are some real gems out there at great prices.

This rules did need a bit of a clean up to get it to this condition, but as you can see in the detail below the figures are stunningly clean and crisp.

On one side is a wire conversion chart for American or Brown and Sharpe, along with Birmingham or Stubs.

On the other side is a fraction chart that is laid out very clearly along with decimal equivalent. I have reproduced this on the left hand side of this page.

Price: 2 from a car boot fair.

It really is worth a rummage through your car boot fair on a Sunday morning. Get up early and look out for some real quality old tools at great prices.
