Granville Island Museums
- It's hard not to feel enormous in these Granville Island museums. Step into the model-boat collection, and you dwarf a wee whale, shrunken sailors and Lilliputian logs. Walk through the sport-fishing displays, and you loom over little bitty lures. Follow the wail of the whistles to the model trains, and suddenly you're taller than 6,000 teeny trees. Once you get past the Amazon attitude, though, it's hard not to develop a colossal admiration for these miniature marvels - and for the full-size folks who build them. Miracle of America Museum & Pioneer Village
- Located just south of US Highway 93 and Montana 35 junction in Polson, Montana is the Miracle of America Museum and Pioneer Village where over 112,000 antique artifacts are displayed. They include Indian artifacts, dozens of vintage cars, cycles and boats, guns, homestead items, 3 steam engines, tractors, military memorabilia and tools of craftsmen from fiddle makers to blacksmiths. The 26 building Pioneer Village includes the State Fiddler Hall of Fame, a complete one-room school house, sod-roofed log cabin, saddlery, smithy, carpentry shop, general store, tailoring shop, and jail. You can sit in Huey or "Mash" helicopters and operate the controls, or climb a stairway and look in the cockpit of a 1971 jet bomber or T-33 trainer plane. Occasional train rides available and ice cream bars can be bought at the 1926 soda fountain. We are open year around. Entrance fee are reasonable: under 3-free, age 3-12 $1, age over 12-$4, discounts for seniors and AAA members

You will also be able to cast your eyes on Naval and Army artefacts. The history of Purfleet is very well represented including the storage of gunpowder. We are situated the edge of the River Thames with outstanding views up and down the river.
